Sharyn Edmiston is the founder and president of Advanced Homecare Placements, dba Jax Nanny. Sharyn has lived in Jacksonville for the past 22 years. She is a current North Florida resident living in the Palencia Community of St. Johns County. Sharyn is very familiar with the greater Jacksonville area and the needs of the area’s residents. With over 16 years of childcare experience and over 2500 successful nanny placements, Sharyn is well known in the industry for her strong work ethic, keen sense of character and commitment to providing quality service. As a wife and mother of three boys, Sharyn takes her life’s work very seriously and demands the highest standards from her childcare professionals.
Introduced to the childcare business by her mother, Dottie Edmiston, Sharyn learned early on that a business built on integrity and commitment would grow a nanny placement agency that people would turn to for their childcare services.
For over ten years, Dottie ran the number one agency
in the San Antonio area before she and her husband retired
and moved to the Villages, Florida. They have been happily
married for 49 years
and now are enjoying "the good life" of living
in Florida. Dottie serves as counsel and contributes
to the continued growth and success of the company. Together
